given you!
God established two kinds of giving. First,
the Tithe: this is His body faithfully giving 10% of their income
to fully resource His church so that we can manifest His glorious
Image & Will in a way that cannot be done individually. Second,
the Offering: which is a loving, personal response to various needs
as the Spirit leads. The Tithe goes to the General Fund, the Offering
can go to anyplace you choose – please be sure to designate
it.
Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will
get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get
a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much
to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to
pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” [As
you do this] God will generously provide all you need. Then
you will always have everything you need and plenty left over
to share with others. 2 Cor. 9:6-8
