| "Therefore go and make
disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them
to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with
you always, to the very end of the age." |

-- Missions Coordinators
The focus of the LSF Missions Committee is supporting full-time foreign
missionaries. We desire to bless a few missionaries in a significant
way, with our support making a considerable difference for them. While
we do not directly oversee short-term trips for individuals or youth,
we encourage them. We can advise you in planning for and partner with
you in prayer for any trip that you are considering. Youth mission
trips are directed by the Youth Pastors. We encourage individuals
of LSF to get involved and "adopt" one of our missionaries--to
regularly pray for, communicate with and, if possible, financially
support that missionary. Our monthly meetings are open to everyone.
Please check the bulletin for our next scheduled meeting. |

Jim and Misako Millard
Japan
Jim and Masako are missionaries to Japan. They
have been in Japan since the mid-1980s, pastoring a church that they
pioneered near Tokyo. Japan is not an easy country to minister in
but they have a love for the Japanese people and their hard fought
victories have been sweet. They have been especially effective with
the children. Along with REACHING OUT TO THE JAPANESE PEOPLE, they
are raising 4 children of their own. Over the years, they have been
involved in many regional outreaches. For the last 3years Jim has
been spearheading an outreach to train and equip Mongolian Christian
Pastors. Please pray and consider how the Lord would have you help
in this effort.

Dave and Jan Brunk
Belarus
Dave and Jan Brunk
are missionaries in Minsk, Belarus. In 1993, Dave started CHRIST FOR
THE NATIONS-BELARUS as a satellite school of CFNI in Dallas. Along
with solid Bible teaching, the school focuses on introducing contemporary
praise and worship to the Belarussian believers, Celac believers,
and to the 11 time zones of the former Soviet Union. Dave and Jan
also work closely with the BELARUSSIAN CHILDREN'S FUND-the largest
non-government humanitarian children’s fund in Belarus, helping
young victims of the Chernobyl accident. Additionally, they have been
involved with women's ministries translating Christian materials and
working with other groups that are trying to start ministries in Belarus.
Please pray and consider how the Lord would have you help in this
effort.

New Hope Children's Home
Jamaica
New Hope Children's Home
is a private, government licensed children's home in Jamaica that's
legally incorporated for the care of children from birth to 5 years
of age. Mr. Lincoln Williams and his wife Amanda are directors of
the home. A teacher by training, Amanda started the home in 1993 after
she saw a need for a home in Mandeville where God's healing and restoration
could take place for babies or small children. Since then, the home
has been blessed to see over one hundred children returned to their
biological families, placed in foster care or released to adoption.
Please pray and consider how the Lord would have you help in this
effort.

| Jay and Linda Cruze |
Jay and Linda Cruze
Cool Water Ministires
Mandeville, Jamaica
Lake Sammamish Foursquare is the home church for Jay
and Linda Cruze. Along
with their Jamaican son, James, they are now in full-time ministry
in Mandeville, Jamaica.
After first visiting New Hope Children’s Home in Jamaica
in the year 2000; and later taking teams to work in various ministries
there, Jay retired from 26 years in the corporate world to move
to Mandeville in Central Jamaica. He and his wife Linda adopted
a five-year-old Jamaican boy from New Hope Children’s Home
and volunteered as teachers and counselors at Jamaica Bible College
for two years. All the while, they served with various children’s
homes as needed. Jay and Linda saw a great need when they
realized that the older children leaving the homes were ill-prepared
for society. That need created such a burden in Jay and Linda,
that in 2005, they established a non-profit corporation called
Cool Water Ministries. The focus of the ministry is to provide
for the boys, who will be leaving the orphanages, a transition
home setting where they receive biblical instruction, discipleship
training, life skills, and instruction in relationships, computers,
health and fitness, money management, and other various topics. It
is their desire to prepare the boys to ‘mainstream’ into
society as healthy, productive adults where they can gain employment
and serve their country.

Lyle & Jette Hall
Youth With A Mission
Tanzania and Denmark
Lyle and Jette are missionaries to Tanzania.
They both grew up in Africa as "missionary kids." They met
in Tanzania as singles on the mission field. Since they've been married,
they have served through the Danish Lutheran Mission for 3 years and
were involved in the construction of a new Bible School campus and
discipleship of African Christians.
Lyle is pursing a Masters degree in Missions and Practical Theology
at the Wagner Leadership Institute. They are currently on staff for
YWAM Crossroads (DTS) training program in Denmark, Jette’s home
country. Lyle and Jette feel that God is leading them to develop a
Medical Mercy Ship on Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania. They hope to return
to Tanzania in the fall of 2003 to work full time toward this dream.
Please pray and consider how the Lord would have you help this effort.
